Dr. Chrishawn Finister is a licensed psychological associate and in independently practicing licensed specialist in school psychology with over a decade of experience as a School Psychologist. A Nationally Certified School Psychologist, she is committed to using evidence- based assessments and interventions to address barriers to learning and support student development. Dr. Finister is also passionate about training future practitioners and promoting cultural competence in the field. She earned her master’s degree in psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2010 and later completed a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. Her professional journey includes work in a large North Texas public school district, a guest lectureship at Texas Christian University, and international service in Qatar, where she helped develop mental health and special education support systems. Dr. Finister is the founder of The Texas Psychological Hive, a non-profit based in Arlington, Texas, offering free psychological evaluations across the lifespan. A proud graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Dr. Finister enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children, as well as traveling and reading.

Erin R. White-Gray is a Buffalo, NY, native. She holds a Master of Science in Urban Education from Canisius College and a master’s degree in Literacy and Instruction from the University at Buffalo. Valuing education, access, and sociocultural awareness, Erin serves as an ELA teacher and as an Instructional Coach at Persistence Preparatory Academy Charter School in Buffalo, NY. She also works with aspiring educators as an Adjunct Instructor at the University at Buffalo. When she’s not teaching, Erin loves to garner new experiences through travel.

With 16 years of diverse human resource experience, Tynesha O’Quinn is a dynamic HR professional who brings progressive expertise across various sectors, including non-profit, healthcare, IT, and local and state government. As the owner of her own HR consulting business, FINE HR Consulting, LLC, she leverages her extensive background to provide tailored HR solutions that support organizational growth and employee success. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY (Go BILLS!), Tynesha now lives in Raleigh, NC, with her husband and two children. Faith, family, and community are the core values that guide her personal and professional life. When she is not spending quality time with her loved ones, you can find her reading, writing, hiking, or volunteering her time to causes close to her heart. Tynesha is passionate about making a positive impact both in the workplace and in her community, continually striving to inspire others to lead with faith-driven purpose and compassion.

Akira C. Atkins is a tenured educator in her eighteenth year with the Vicksburg-Warren School District. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Akira moved to Vicksburg, Mississippi shortly after finishing her freshman year at Xavier University of Louisiana. After completing her studies in foreign language, she spent a year in a small coastal city in France teaching English to elementary school children. Upon her return to the States, Akira enrolled in Alcorn State University where she received a master’s degree in education. An avid reader, paper crafter,  and amateur shutterbug, Akira also loves to travel and scrapbook.

Anya, a resident of Prosper, Texas, is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California. She brings extensive experience in human resources leadership, with a strong background in identifying funding opportunities and writing successful grant applications. Anya serves as a Board Member at-large for the Texas Psychological Hive, contributing her strategic insight and professional expertise to support the organization’s mission.
